I know there is an option for that on the ark single player settings. I personally never used it but I does state making max level 150 regardless of map. Wondering if gen 2 max is 120. Don't play single player much. Typically buy a server and code it to my preferences. Difficulty for Gen 2 for 150 dinos is 1.2857.
My girlfriend and I are playing the Aberration DLC on a private server and we wanted to increase the stats per level up, depending on which stat we invest the point in. I've found that changing some of the ini files to increase the difficulty in other ways is a more effective way to make the game harder. I also increase the taming speed compared to the difficulty level. If on difficulty 4x then taming speed is also 4x or there about.
