2013 Foreman 500 fuel pump issue. I've got a 2013 Honda Foreman 500 that a mouse decided to take up residence in behind the battery. In doing so it chewed the wires on the sub-harness for the fuel pump relay. After I evicted the mouse (Who's no longer with us. When gas continuously drains from the drain tube on the bottom of the carb when your gas is on...thats a stuck float. Loosen up the screws that hold the carb on, turn your carb so you can get to the bottom of it, remove the 4 screws that hold the bowl on, once its off, take carb cleaner and spray the area where the float is real good.

The airflow into the motorcycle is increased because of the difference in pipe design and other specifics. This difference causes backfire in the exhaust. Other causes of backfire are bad or weak fuel pumps, low fuel pressure, and clogged fuel filters. All three of these issues have a direct effect on the air-to-fuel ratio.
