Only use VTM4. I suggest a gallon transfer fluid pump, makes life easy. Drop the spare for access to the drain and fill plugs. Fill until the fluid starts trickling out. The drain crush washer is 18mm and fill is 20mm. Drain and fill every 20K thereafter. Transfer case calls for Honda HGO1 GL5 75W-80 Hypoid Gear oil.

The guy at the parts counter said they didn't keep many in stock because the non-oil-drain-plug washers don't get deformed like the one for the oil pan. So I just ended up reusing the ones for the transmission and transfer case.
