Marlin 1894p.

I'm looking at a 1894P 44 magnum locally and it has some rust/pitting problems on the receiver & a couple of spots on the magazine tube, opinions would be appreciated. I know that it's worth whatever I'm willing to pay, but it's always good to get some input from the wise Marlin folks here at the forum. Aug 5, 2013 · Marlin 1894 and 94 manufacture dates. I have a question on manufacture dates for a couple of different Marlins. First is a Model 94, in 25-20 serial number 8014xx, as best I can tell the first number is a 8 and not a 3, but even with a magnifying glass I am not 100% sure. Second is a 1894C 357/38 Serial number, 92041xxx.
