This one is all about the new Hoyt Ventum Pro 33 and the new Mathews V3X 3...Both companies are very proud of the bows they make. Hoyt produces compound and recurve bows while Mathews only produces compound bows. If we compare the compound bows; the featured differences are Hoyt has split limbs and hybrid cams; Mathews has solid limbs and a solo cam. The cam systemis the biggest difference. And by “higher,” I mean over $1,000. Hoyt has quite a few compound bows that go for close to $2,000, but they also have a few that price at less than $500. As for Mathews, their lowest-priced bow for 2019 is still above $800. For those willing to spend some serious cash on a quality bow, $800 isn’t a huge sacrifice. First of all, a good stabilizer will take a little of the shock and vibration out of the bow. This makes the bow quieter and more pleasant to shoot. The difference in weight is noticeable. The phase 4 feels like a tank. I also think the Phase 4 is smoother to draw with less of a dump. Not that the Lift is bad, it's just more noticeable. The phase 4 is also more "jumpy" on the release despite the weight difference. It feels violent compare to the lift.

The Hoyt Torrex will kill anything the VTM will, it’s a <10 fps difference, that’s not gonna matter on game. It will probably be as accurate as a VTM as well. Location. UT. This is an opinion based subject so I will give mine. I believe the Mathews binary cam configuration to be far superior to Hoyt's hybrid cam and a half system. The tuning and usability of the binary cam is so user friendly comared to the myriad of issues you can run into with the hybrid cam.The VTM 34, SS34, and Phase4 33.
