I didn't realize it until I got on the freeway ramp and almost hit the car in front of me. Luckily, the regen braking was enough to slow the car down. The brake pedal felt like it was in a locked position at the top of its range.
I'm sure that the rotors are tesla specific, but they can be turned if need be. The braking system itself is not much different than any other car from a routine maintenance point of view.
