Connect the neutral side to a light bulb, lamp, etc. Connect the Line Out of the WC-11 to the other side of the light bulb. Use a jumper wire. Connect the oscilloscope leads to the hot and neutral sides of the light bulb. Be sure that all the wiring is secure so that nothing shorts out during the testing. Plug in the AC plug to a 110 volt outlet.

I have just a single white and a single black wire in the switch box. The ceiling box has a black wire and three white wires in it. Seems like a 'non-standard' wiring job to say the least.
