If you are far from a glory I would still mine some for the red topaz early, but save any significant gem rocks grind for post Glory. Also the diary makes a massive difference so I would reccomend going for that if you plan to mine a lot of gem rocks.
Chance of dying is quite high p much, really cuts into profits. It's something like 900 trips per on rate eternal glory, and it's a heavy PK spot that you can't teleport out of + multi.
