I checked at the ATT store by my house and was told to order one online at ATT.COM. I placed the order on July 7th - paying up-front for the remote and for next-day shipping. I never received it and am being told now that the basic UVERSE remote is on backorder. Anyone have any other ideas as to where I can quickly get a remote.

And just to be clear here, no codes are needed to control the att uverse dvr's or receivers. So I assume you are looking for the codes to control your tv. The remote is also not a full universal remote. When programmed properly it will only control on/off, volume, and maybe input selection. Anything else is just "luck".
