Marlin's 336 is now a Remington-produced piece of junk, Olin/Winchester's 94 isn't what it used to be and Mossberg's 464 is an economy model in every way. Ruger could really step in and claim the top of this (I would guess) lucrative market space. If they incorporated the best of the 336 and the 94, more's the better.
