I already read Prototype and Isolation (in that order unfortunately). So i just wanted to make sure i had the order of “out of the shadows”, “river of pain” and “sea of sorrows” correct. It's very likely that the outcome of this conflict would tie in directly to the first movie, i.e. David would infect an Engineers with a facehugger which would crash on LV426 (creating our classic Xenomorph).The Cold Forge and Into Charybdis are the best Alien novels. They are honestly better Alien stories than Prometheus and Covenant (and I liked those).
