Aug 18, 2019 · As a Mercenary, you receive different buffs based on alignment (specific upgrade from the Merc contracts) and the ability to purchase upgrades from each Faction, as long as they're available to that alignment. This allows you to combine Faction upgrades to produce even more powerful builds than Vanilla Prestige can. I need a merc build. Ok si i am in R5 and have never used the mercenaries I already did the oath but that's about as much as I have gotten with them. I read up on builds and kinda know about the lightning strike build is the most popular but I don't really understood how to get it, anyways any helps or tips?I rushed to R18 with the Fairy RwC build. My initial sense of 3.02 is that R18 research and challenge 3 unlocks are more effiecient than stopping earlier or waitng for later Rs. If you have Sun Force to make the mercenary build quick through R17. That DW2 and EL7 combo checked out in 3.01.All builds had access to all relevant trophies, challenges and artifacts. Research Fairies has slowed down from its usual x1000 or higher gemcount factor to barely x5. I've read things saying that Research Faceless is the way to go until Prestige Research, but I'm still R25, and Faceless seem remarkably slow.
