they are actuator sensors down on the transfer case. one tells if it's in 4low or not, and one tells it if its in 4hi or not. If its stuck in 4 Lo, put the switch into 4Lo. Stop completely, press the clutch all the way down, and switch to 4Hi. May have to go forward or back a bit to get 4Lo to disengage. It was the 4wd actuator switch on the transfer case. Toyota want almost $1000 for that part alone and you'll still have to open the transfer case up to pull the actuator off. Then you can stop put the truck in neutral and then puch the 4LO button. The truck will not go into 4LO without first being in 4HI.The VSC OFF was flashing along with 4LO.
