The troubleshooting solutions mentioned below should work regardless of the brand of your tablet, e.g. Wacom, Huion, XPPen, Ugee, Parblo, Veikk, Xencelabs, Gaomon, etc. ClipstudioPAINT can be initialized by starting PAINT while holding down the SHIFT key. Well these shoestrings are the default setting so resetting the Selected Sub tool to default settings just brings me back to square one.When starting a stroke there's sometimes a lag where touch just isn't registered.
