The program is based at Baystate Medical Center is Springfield. Both programs focus on research, and are for undergraduate students interested in a career in public health, medicine, or other healthcare professions. I received my residency training in psychiatry at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where I served on the Mental Health Crisis Response Team during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Jack Cary Eichenbaum Summer Scholars Program offers students a mentored introduction to research, patient treatment, and ethical issues in neonatology. Participants will meet a diverse group of healthcare providers and shadow pediatric physicians. Positions are full-time, include a stipend, and require a commitment of eight weeks.

The Young Scholars Program is designed to support students from 8th grade through senior year of high school. Each school year, the Foundation evaluates Cooke Young Scholars through a renewal process. Assuming program expectations are met by the scholar and family, the scholarship support continues through senior year of high school.permitted.
