Jul 16, 2010 · Even most Deere people will admit that. Case IH 1200 and 1250 space better from the factory than the ESet precision BS that costs a fortune and the Case IH row unit is far better. What amazes me is the Deere planters are so bad from the factory you have to change out parts and spend a bunch of money right after you buy a brand new machine.
Apr 24, 2010 · Since 1997 we have owned a Kinze 12/23 2600, a JD 1790 16/32, a Kinze 3600 16/32, & am currently running a CIH 1240 24x20" planter. For simplicity the 2600 Kinze was the best and did a good job of singulating seeds but you had to watch grade sizes as a too large or small of bean would cause problems & you'd have to change seed plates. If you are using the Kinze 16 row to plant corn and the Deere 1780 to plant beans - You should switch. Take 15 rows off the Deere and plant corn with it.
