Jan 24, 2020. #2. The Bravo grip is comfortable and similar to the large grip on the X-ray. However, if you use the thumb shelf on the X ray I wouldn’t recommend going to the Bravo, as the grip is different in the sense that it has no thumb shelf and is slightly thicker. 308pirate.

I have the lss and the lss-xl both on howa long actions The 3.715 mags are fine for the 270 but not for something with big bullets. I also have an APO saber short action and sold a bravo with another rifle. The bravo and MDT xrs will make a better cold-weather platform if you shoot through the winter as I do. I put my mtr into an MDT XRS chassis. The shape of the original stock made it impossible for me to get behind the scope shooting support side. I also like having the rail options. However, you should be focused on rifle balance and how the foreend can be adapted for your standing position and your body type. Nov 29, 2019 · The KRG is lighter in weight, much lighter. Plastic/polymer stock with alum bedding block. The Oryx is a tank. Alum with plastic panels. Both work, depends on what you are going to do with the rifle. Hunting rifle to carry, KRG BRAVO hands down. PRS, blind hunting, sitting on a mountain, or a ridge, the Oryx. JMHO.
The same process will allow an X-ray T3 to take the TRG/CTR mag as for the Bravo (cut magwell/use TRG mag catch). The front halves of the two chassis are the same at this point though that was not the case for early Bravo's. The current differences between X-ray and Bravo are: -X-ray has different grip size options.
KRG looks cooler, and I prefer the size of their grip/palm swell, but I’m sure it’s dealers choice on end performance. Apparently an unpopular opinion, but I've shot both and MUCH prefer the XRS. It's a little bit apples and oranges. MDT XRS and KRG Bravo would be more comparable. Similar style, price, designed use, etc. Deciding on your two choices would be better rationalised by your own "style" preference than any perceived difference in "quality" between the two.
