If you want a simple and intuitive interface go with Ninjatrader or Tradovate.There are different options for the size of the account 25k, 50k, 100k etc… personally I use the 50k accounts. The way it works is you pay a set monthly rate for the accounts i.e. $80 per month for the 50k accounts - you have a 2500 draw down so if you lose 2500 you have to reset the account for $90.

Fees per trade are a little hard to figure out, what I come up with is (all-in, both sides) $0.98 per contract for AMP and $1.38 per contract with Tradovate. Is this right? Does Tradovate’s commission only plan include full access to the simulator/market replay? I need to be able to practice without being charged

I'm in the same dilemma. I'm leaving Tradovate. It's either Quantower vs Sierra Charts. Expect to pay around a 100$ a month give or take with data fees and the orderflow package. This is about the standard across the industry. Sierra charts is unique in that they have everything from the top down in house, and their dev team is impeccable.

AMP has the lowest fees (afaik) btwn futures brokers. If you’re looking at less than 2 or so years of experience, I suggest the very user friendly tradingview paper (with data subscriptions that are inexpensive) to develop a technique to handle the market, and yourself. Additionally, this isn’t a “hobby”.
