Peltier marble identification.
They are swirls rather than slags. But I think every single swirl company made these and without strong traits, they are near impossible to tell, especially in photographs. These and white in clear are the worst to ID. I think the white in clear is easier than these even. I'd even rather try to ID solid game marbles I think
A Clambroth that has strands of more than one color, usually alternating, is called “multicolored”. These are rarer than the single- color marbles. Marbles with a base glass color that is not white, usually black or blue are also rare. Translucent examples are also rare. There are two different types of glass that were used for the base glass.Its tough to tell the difference between a Peltier and Kokomo marble to some extent but there is tell-tale characteristics that distinguish them apart like elongated bubbles and colors. What's even tougher is the fact that both companies used each others equipment and raw materials. The color of this marble is what intrigues me.I just wanted to get your guys reactions on the rarity of the marble. I have already had it identified by an expert. It also has the exact seam and swirl pattern of a Miller Rebel I possess. It's an extremely rare Peltier Early Hybrid. From what I understand it's one of their most early experimental marbles.The base color is a slight mixture of red and brown, looks red but a brown cast to it resembling motor oil. This example is another (red/brown) that does fit into the other red based family types. A variant (off shoot) of the red based Peltiers. A finding i have came upon all these years looking for examples of the (RED) based marbles.Always look at the pattern and cut lines as well as surface attributes found on Mexican fast made marbles. Old Peltier marbles are perfect surfaces lacking the irregular surface and cold rolls of a normal Vacor. Out of a bag of 50, one is lucky to find 5 perfect examples lacking surface imperfections. There are also aqua, purple, red, and yellow. The company does not appear to have produced clear or orange slags. Peltier slags are readily identifiable by the very fine feathering pattern produced by the white swirls. This is unique to Peltier.

Pelt Bananas can get a bit weird.
