Ascension Perks: One Vision first, with rare exceptions like being a MegaCorp, going for Hydrocentric and getting early terraforming, etc. Extra Unity and reduced Amenities need is very helpful, and often is more useful late-game than Technological Ascendancy. I don't have a solid "second place" Perk.There are really only 2 archaeo tech things that are great, the refinery and the nano cloud missiles. The perk does make them significantly better, and as such does make it competitive if those are useful to you, especially since I usually find I have 1 or 2 spot fill perks cuz none of them are all that useful. 11.6.
