Department Overview. Boerne Animal Care Services provides services for the care of pets and animals while enforcing animal-related laws established by city ordinance. The department is committed to balancing the health, public safety, and welfare needs of people and animals in the community. Boerne ACS operates only within the city limits.
About Animal Control. Animal Control supports responsible pet ownership while helping keep animals and the public safe. Services include: Enforcing the animal ordinances for the City of Columbia and Boone County. Providing Rabies and animal welfare education. Assisting with low cost or free spay and neuter options.
