Most people can use a 15lb recoil spring without any other mods, but if you want to go lower than that you'll more than likely need to install a reduced weight firing pin spring.Canik's Rival is a great gun. You can shoot the gun as it comes in the box in Production, adding the magazine well makes it a fine Limited gun, and removing the magazine well and adding a red dot will (probably, I don't have the dot yet) make it an equally good Carry Optics gun. I have seen a while back that someone used the Rival Compensator on their RIVAL-S and said that it fits. When i tried mine holes on barrel do not align. Has anyone tried this and shot rounds through.
