If you don’t have live market data either by paying for it through TradingView or logging into your Tradovate broker in TradingView you’ll be limited to 5 second updates. It’s live data through Tradovate. I might get some hate, but I trade with my Mac so trading software is limited. iPhone trading only way.If you connect the 2 then the data feed that you pay for on tradovate can be used on tradingview. Also if you so desire you could use tradingview to actually place trades through tradovate. Tradingview has this option available for a couple of different brokers. Tradovate replay and simulation work pretty well and as someone mentioned, it's pretty good about not automatically filling you just bc the target is hit. I don't know about oil specifically. But yes, in US in futures you can lose more than you put in. I do the active trader, which is about $80/month and I get $0.19/contract fees. Tradovate charts are awful compared to ToS, so I end up using ToS charts and use Tradovate to place my orders and executions.
