late answered but here is how i fixed mine, but last time i take out the board to change the Full/empty sensor at the bottom Tray and re-assembly it back and my LR3 indicate the “Home Position Fault”. Turned out i didnt put the Hall effect sensor in the correct position. So make you u put it back like the one in the picture.

Actually just had this issue! Came across an old thread on here that had this link: litter robot dfi sensor . I followed the steps and haven’t had issues since. Granted it’s only been like a week but that was after two weeks of non stop drawer full. It ended up I think being the bag, crinkling up just enough to set off the sensor.
