The drop rate is about 25%. I ran 1600 legend lost sectors and 393 exotics dropped. 1600 / 393 = 24.56%. This DOESN'T mean that if you go run 4 lost sectors right now that you'll have 1 exotic to show for it. You're rolling a 4-sided dice at each chest, hoping to land on the right side.

Also, if you didn't already know, it may be helpful to know that for nearly every lost sector, it is more efficient to run it on Legend than Master.
