I also have the Fringer Canon EF to Nikon Z adapter which allows me to make use of some of my favorite Canon lenses on my Z's.The 1.4 TC works very well with the 70-200, and IQ should be better than the 70-300 - but 280mm may be too short. The 1.7 TC is still ok if you stop down to f/8...Around the time I got the D300, I had replaced nearly all my AF lenses with AF-S. I only saved the 50mm AF and 28mm AF. I just don't think there are a lot of people out there who have moved to mirrorless who are attached to AF lenses enough that they are begging for an FTZ with built in motor.
