Driver window only moving up 1 or 2 inches at a time: As stated elsewhere, modify the reset process by only lowering it just a bit, less than an inch, then raising it and holding the UP button for a few seconds. Check for power to the switch (key on), no power to switch check plug and wires for corrosion/ damage. If you have power to the switch, check the switch (contacts in switch may be worn/corroded/damaged.The passenger side window and now the driver side window are being difficult on the 2015 3.6r. When I press the auto-up button they go up and then about 1 cm from the top they both come back to about half open. The auto-up button is pretty much worthless on the passenger side. On a routine visit for service, I asked the service dept to help me reset the passenger window. After the dealer reset failed to correct the window bounce, the service writer just use a screwdriver to clean out gunk in the window's upper channel. Problem solved! Driverside power window fail. Has anyone had trouble with the auto-raise feature with power windows on their 2020 Outbacks? I've had a few problems lately where the window goes up and then drops back down to the 1/2 way position. Almost like it is programed that way. Happed most recently as I was getting in line at the car wash.

After disconnecting the battery, charging it, and hooking it back up, I have some problems with the power windows. The Outback has been starting and running fine though. 1. I cannot control the front passenger window from the driver's controls. The passenger window does go up/down when controlled by the passenger's button.
