If analogy was unclear: the WASR is the quintessential beater AK and will probably outlive you. The WPB is nicer looking and has dimples. People will dick ride the WASR-10 and downvote me here but then complain about fit, finish and price of the damn thing later. WBP is a better rifle.

The WBP is definitely overpriced at $1400. The ZPAP is going for just at $1k now. Fox can accept AKM/AK74 style furniture, the ZPAP can’t. ZPAP can only accept Yugo style furniture. ZPAP is heavier due to the thicker receiver and RPK trunnion than the WBP. All up to you if you want the classic AKM look of the WBP or want the Yugo style look.
