Since the mobile app came out in 2017 the community has been taken over by underage minors pretending to be adults as well as more predators who go after the underage minors. The app is easily accessed through a phone or tablet. (A lot of minors have either one of those options).
Generally, I've noticed that most hackings happen because of weak passwords and nobody turned on two-factor authentication. They'll just have bots fire passwords into the system till they get a hit. Then there's also those who click on strange links in messages and somehow give out their password from a fake login page.
