Apr 23, 2021 · Luckily, the Firelink Shrine bonfire won't be useful for the next couple of areas you should go to, and if you complete a little quest, you can restore the bonfire just when you need it again. For now, if you go down the stairs from the Firelink bonfire you should see an item pile behind a set of metal bars where the firekeeper used to be.
Just a thought, but the only way to access Firelink in ds3 is through a bonfire. Bonfires are pretty uncanny with the way they let you warp through them. and I'm thinking now, what if they let you warp through time aswell? In that way ds3's firelink being in the past and inhabited by people from the future would make at least some sense.
