Just use a big screwdriver and a wrench on the nut. Hold the wrench on the nut, and losen the screw. Take off the side plug on the bowl. Turn the nut until the fuel level just barely starts to trickle out of the side hole. Tighten the screw on top of the nut. Put the side plug back in. Thats it!

GypsyR. Just the floats and needles are "non-adjustable". You can still adjust them, you just have to do it by bending the float arms like a number of other carburetors. If you ask me, you're missing nothing. When you adjust the floats you're mostly just trying to return them to the factory correct setting anyway.

I don't believe bending the float arm on these models is a typical adjustment procedure. The external adjustment should get the job done. Your idle mixture settings could fall anywhere between 1 and 2 turns out. That adjustment is best accomplished in conjunction with an accurate vacuum reading.
