The wisdom passed down to us from prior generations was that knowing the question bank was enough to do well on the exam, and that knowing all of MKSAP by heart was sufficient for getting a high score. An Ohio internist also studied from the MKSAP book for his initial 2001 certification and the print MKSAP 15 for his recertification exam in 2011.
