Over 99% of steam decks are delivered with zero problems. Take the day off, stand ready with a bat or 12 Guage and wait for it to arrive. I would install doorbell camera just for this alone, so if it is stolen you have proof. I would get a doorbell camera. If you can prove it was stolen, they will replace it.

All steam decks have the same model number. Each steam deck does have a unique serial number. So they will block the serial number not the model number. You can buy 20 of the same model number tv's.
