Hi, I bought a 2018 MDX in November. It is going well except that sometimes the remote doesnt work and the car doesnt start (and I need to wait few hours until it starts working again). The remote is in the car but it says no remote detected (it does NOT say the battery low or something like this). This has happened only 2-3 times since November.After cleaning, reconnect the terminals. 3. Weak key fob battery. Connect your multimeter probes to the battery posts, start the car and watch the voltage. Normally, a running car with the alternator charging the battery would have between 13.8 and 14.8 volts running through it. If the voltage is below that, then it's probable the alternator isn't charging the battery.Mechanic for Acura: Anthony P.
