D - did some research on the 'net and there was discussion on several auto review sites about the new Murano experiencing a high pitched whine from the CVT at rapid or hard acceleration. Well I noticed that the high pitched whine only is present under 45mph. It doesn't matter if it is in CVT mode or automatic/overdrive mode, if the car is going slower than 45mph you will hear the whining sound, even when you slow down to stop at a light or a stop sign, it is really loud between 10 and 3o Mph.

I just noticed while driving at local speed below 40mph, sometimes I can hear low volume whining sound from front end, sounds like from passenge side. Mostly happen during cruising or decelerating.
