I am going to try a spark plug defouler. I see everyone putting them on the downstream O2 sensors. I am confused by this. The catalytic converter that I suspect has failed, is not getting hot enough, and installing the defouler downstream will make the ECM think said O2 sensor is even colder, when it needs to read hotter.
