Apotheosis gem socket not working. I socketed my weapon just fine, but I can't get these to accept gems. I've tried all types of gems, and on multiple armor pieces (with empty sockets) and this is a smithing table. The preview of the armor (the empty box on the right) shows the icon and then disappears right away.

There isn’t as of now, I would recommend making a mob farm via apotheosis and just getting a good sword to 1 shot them with. Yes, it's worth having a look through the guide book for the mod, But gems don't care what gear they are in, so you can go all max hp damage in all armour slots and have a silly time. Works.
