To me, the QPacks were not very useful other than to identify obvious content gaps. The section banks were the level of the harder passages on test day, but definitely were within the ballpark of things that showed up. Uworld is pretty close to the real deal, especially for a third party company.

The BEST thing about Uworld is the crazy in depth explanation for every single question and getting lots of practice with timing down.UWorld is literally like 99% similar to AAMC but it explains everything so much more better than AAMC does, so questions are generally the same in terms of format, thinking etc. And it can be a bit more harder than AAMC sometimes, as well. Be warned that once you get to the last 200 questions or so, the difficulty level is very high and the topics, slightly obscure – still good practice though! UWorld on the whole can be harder than the AAMC, but that is a pro, and as a general rule of thumb you want to be scoring in the high 70s-80s percent accuracy on the questions.

Most people seem to find both at least somewhat useful, they are just used for different things. The real MCAT feels harder, but the curve is better so the score ends up fine. I wouldn't say it's a difference of yield, that can vary across tests, and even difficulty of the real day varies, but the curve evens it out in the end.
