Once you start live you have the skimmed down version of the platform for free but still pay $4 for data and your commissions are $5.58RT for eMini. Once you are a profitable trader sure, why not. Tradovate does have the market replay feature which is awesome for practicing but it does cost $50/m if not on the Active Trader plan, which again doesn't offer much of a discount on micros. Both Tradovate and TS have sim accounts, but TS has no market replay feature.
