Extra-lite will be a bit better as it has the same density as Red Dot. I use Nitro 100 and it is a dense powder on the same scale as Titewad but I use 7/8 oz. wads (Purple Duster). As far as one powder "working" better than another, as long as the data recommends the powder for use in 7/8 oz. loads, they all will "work."

I have also found reloading data on Alliant .410 but have not found any commentary from anyone who has tried this powder. From a pure cost standpoint, Alliant .410 is the cheapest per pound and also gives the most shells per pound. W296 and Lil'Gun are similar in cost but you get a few more shells from Lil' Gun.
