I checked my manual and it said to check the fuse: OK; check the center control panel button resistance: OK, check the actuator assembly: no noise when the button is pushed. Tried it on a test drive and it all works great, even 4LO. Thanks for the help guys, and hopefully everyone doesn't give up on that transfer case actuator just because Toyota's service manual does. That ended up costing me around $4 for a new o-ring instead of $500+ for a salvage transfer case plus installation or $2500+ for a new actuator.The diagnostic scan indicates 3 items related to the Check Engine and 4WD blinking. P2240 and P2241 are faults with the O2 sensors and these results in the Check Engine Light coming on. These are usually due to faulty sensors and rectified by replacing them.
