This is a FYI. Last spring Sears "gave" me a new 22 HP Briggs twin cylinder for my GT 500 due to a long list of issues. I usually check and adjust the valves about once a year and hadn't done it yet on this engine. Did it this morning, and discovered that the valve adjustment-WASN'T!!
